Ah, shit it’s 8pm and dark already.
Just an hour and a half ago, I took these pictures on my iphone. This level of photo quality is quite different from what I’m used to when it comes to cell phones.
I will die happy if I never again hear that feedback from hell “Picture” song by Kid Rock/Sheryl Crow, especially at a bar.
Is there a way to escape daylight savings time? Is there any place with long sunny days? Preferably in the USandA?
The east coast is so high-strung. If life is a highway, mine must be I-95. A cab driver I met in Pittsburgh referred to Washington, DC as “Disneyland on the Potomac.” hehe. How perfect. Don’t get me wrong, DC is a beautiful city. But. you have a city of people with their eyes set on ‘moving up’ to that next job title, because that is soooo important….imagine how cracked out everyone is just during the morning commute.
Behold, “the mixing bowl”:
This stretch of interstate is where Maryland, Virginia, and DC drivers become one in their daily race to the top. Everyone is pissed off.
Here’s my question: If you had 6 months to go jobless & travel, all financially covered, where would you go and what would you do? This is one of my favorite fantasy scenarios. I’d write a book while spending a few weeks in Cabo, mix it from there with a trip to Bora Bora, Switzerland, ooh ooh ooh!!! and seeing the Northern Lights, FInALLY, in Alaska. There’s more places on the list too. Room service, dahlings!!!
Traveling is the shit.
